20 April – 8 May 2016

A programme of films by Sebastian Buerkner, Saeed Taji Farouky and Jessica Sarah Rinland is presented in this temporary screening space in BALTIC’s project space at BALTIC 39.

As part of The Artist’s Cut all three artists have received support to produce a short narrative film for release on Channel 4’s Random Acts network. A selection of their existing work is shown here, giving wider context to their individual practices.

This initiative is designed to develop new and original voices for cinema and television.
